Vera Ares

Vera is an experienced business and technology transfer professional, spending 14 years in technology transfer at Stanford University and the University of California, San Francisco before becoming Associate Director of Business Development at Merck, Sharp and Dohme (MSD) for 7 years. While at MSD, she partnered with academic institutions to sponsor collaborative research. Over her career at Stanford and UCSF, she managed portfolios of inventions in all technology areas.
