Biography
Dirk Didascalou is Head of Foundational Technologies (FT) at Siemens AG. FT forms the
technological backbone of the open digital business platform Siemens Xcelerator, providing
Siemens’ product teams with benchmark tools, technologies, and expertise. Previously, he
was CTO for Digital Industries at Siemens, VP IoT at Amazon Web Services, Corporate VP at
Microsoft, and SVP Research & Development at Nokia. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical
Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
